About the artist
   
Each shorebird is hand-carved and hand-painted by Rick Fish of Snow Hill, MD. Rick is a well known and extremely talented carver. He is originally from Chincoteague, Virginia. He draws his inspiration from the wildlife around him. Rick's unique artistic designs have a graceful, fluid movement which sets them apart from all others.
